A Call for Blockchain and Web3 Pioneers

MasChain, the premier Layer 1 Blockchain designed for efficiency, scalability, and sustainability, is excited to announce its Grant Programme for the upcoming year.

With a dedicated fund of RM2Million, we aim to foster innovation and development within our ecosystem over the next 12 months.

We are calling on developers, entrepreneurs, and visionaries to help expand the possibilities of blockchain technology and promote the Web3 ecosystem across various critical sectors.

Grant Directions :

We are seeking proposals that leverage MasChain’s capabilities in the following areas:

👉🏼 Traceability: Solutions that enhance the transparency and traceability of products from origin to end-user, ensuring authenticity and compliance.
‍
👉🏼 Self-Custodian Wallet: Development of wallets that empower users with full control over their assets, enhancing security and privacy.

👉🏼 Payment Solutions: Innovative payment gateways and platforms that simplify transactions on a global scale, with a focus on speed, security, and user experience.

👉🏼 Halal Compliance: Blockchain solutions that ensure products and services comply with Halal standards, opening new markets and opportunities.

👉🏼 Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG): Projects that utilise blockchain to drive positive environmental impact, promote social responsibility, and ensure good governance.

👉🏼 Loyalty Programmes: Next-generation loyalty platforms that offer flexibility, interoperability, and value for both businesses and consumers.

👉🏼 High-Transaction Applications: Applications that require high throughput, scalability, and efficiency, demonstrating the robustness of MasChain’s infrastructure.

Eligibility and Application Process:

‍Applicants should provide adetailed proposal that includes:

• Project description and objectives

• Technical architecture and requirements

• Expected impact and outcomes within the MasChain ecosystem

• Timeline and milestones

• Team background and experience

Proposals will be evaluated based on their innovation, feasibility, impact on the MasChain ecosystem, and alignment with our grant directions.

Funding & Support :

Selected projects will receive a portion of the RM2 million fund to support their development and implementation over one year. Additionally, grantees will have access to MasChain’s resources, including technical support, marketing, and community engagement, to ensure their project’s success.

Success Criteria :

To ensure the effective utilisation and impactful contribution of the MasChain Grant towards the development of the blockchain ecosystem, the following ‘Success Criteria’ need to be followed. These criteria are designed to guide applicants in preparing their proposals and to set a benchmark for evaluating submissions :

Innovation and Technical Excellence
‍
Projects should exhibit a high level of innovation and technical sophistication. Applications must present well-researched or tested concepts, with a preference for projects demonstrating some prior work or development.
‍
Projects should contribute uniquely to the MasChain ecosystem by offering new solutions, enhancing existing technologies, or providing significant technical advancements.

Sustainability and Maintenance
‍
Projects should exhibit a high level of innovation and technical sophistication. Applications must present well-researched or tested concepts, with a preference for projects demonstrating some prior work or development.
‍
Projects should contribute uniquely to the MasChain ecosystem by offering new solutions, enhancing existing technologies, or providing significant technical advancements.

Ethical and Responsible Development
‍
Projects must adhere to high ethical standards, promoting positive societal impacts while abstaining from facilitating gambling, illicit trade, money laundering, or any criminal activities.

We do not fund projects that have successfully conducted a token sale or those primarily focused on tokens. The application should emphasise the software development of MasChain or the research being undertaken.

Clear and Detailed Proposal

Applications must be rich in technical details, with a well-defined project scope and objectives. Proposals should clearly articulate how the project stands out in the competitive landscape or introduce novel technology to the ecosystem.

Compliance with Grant Policies
‍
Teams must complete any previously awarded grants before applying for a new one. This ensures dedication to the project and efficient use of resources.

Evaluation and Support

These criteria are designed to nurture a diverse range of projects that push the boundaries of blockchain technology using MasChain, contribute to the ecosystem’s growth, and uphold the highest standards of ethical development. Proposals will be evaluated based on their alignment with these success criteria. Selected projects can expect guidance and support from our team, aimed at fostering innovation and excellence within the MasChain ecosystem.
